Details

The Hioki 3490 is a rugged completely analog 3-range insulation tester (MegOhmMeter). The insulation tester can test 250/500V (insulation resistance testing up to 100MΩ), and 1000V (insulation testing up to 4GΩ) which can be remotely controlled via the leads, as well as perform a continuity check at a 3Ω range via 200mA testing. The tester can also check for live circuits. The power supply status can be seen via an LED on the device. The measurements are presented on a backlit luminous scale for better readability. Furthermore, the device can measure up to 600V AC voltage. Finally, the Hioki 3490 is built tough to withstand a 1-meter drop onto a concrete floor.
